Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rapper with a distinct style. Baker was born in Houston, Texas on April 22 in 1990 to an German and English Scottish family. His parents were missionaries. During his childhood the Bakers traveled extensively with them. The father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed as did his mom Sonia Alane left them when at the age of nine. Following that Baker and his dad moved to Denver which was where they resided together with his father's aunt. Baker had to endure bullying from other youngsters because of his poor status. As he entered the sixth grade, Baker was able to study the art of rap. Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on April 22 1990 in Texas in the U.S. The artist is famous for mixing hip-hop styles that are contemporary and alternative to rock in his music compositions. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010 He released four mixtapes from 2007 and 2010. These Cleveland rapper who raps songs as quickly as bullets, saw a meteoric climb in late 2011 when he switched from self-releasing mixtapes and being signed to reputable labels. His career took off from there, with all of his releases making it to the top 10 of charts.
