Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and Theatre. She began her career with the city of Los Angeles as a theater artist, performing and choreographing over 20 plays and musicals. They included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven main roles in LA's Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing movie and television roles after she learned improvisation, and later became a Theatre West company member. Kelly's unique voice and small size have enabled her to perform a wide range of character types. She has worked with Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as the evil Samara however, she is more well-known as the bright and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of an attorney and a the party animal on TV the show Land's The Exes as a series regular between 2011 and 2015. In addition, she was Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. The actress is famous for her soprano vocals in many animations. They include the cult show Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she appeared in the NBC's hit comedy Superstore as the dim, but adorable Cloud 9 worker. She leads a tranquil private life with her husband and two small children and enjoys sewing writing as well as volunteering for school activities.
